photoshop help

i asked this at a community but got no help. some of you may know. I just got photoshop CS and i was wondering where i could find brushes for it. PS7 brushes dont work in CS do they?



p.s...CSI....how do you leave your baby in your car and forget? in 145 degreee weather?!

hehe thanks. CS is great but if i have to look for brushes blindly its gonna be a pain in the butt.

Just like forgetting your wallet or your keys, except that you are less likeley to remember the forgotten baby, on account of not needing it to get back into the car or pay for the grocceries.

New parents esspecialy.

I did, once or twice. remembered before getting to far, though.

And didn't you see "Raising Arizona"? The brothers left the kid on top of the car in the car seat, I did that once too. Remembered before starting the car, but still...

You should be able to load brushes from just about any version of photoshop right in the brushes pallet.

so there are just CS specific brushes(cause i know those wont work in PS7) but others work in CS?

The brush libraries from 7 should be .abr and should load right from the brush pallet. As far as I can tell they are the same format from 7 to CS, but I've never tried going the other direction.

hey i saw that episode of CSI....omg it was gross that poor baby, i think that was one of the episodes that was based on an actual event...good episode tho

I'm pretty darn sure CS should be backwards compatible. Meaning you can use 6.0 and 7.0 brushes in it and such. But if not, there's a whole page of CS brush links via the Brush Search Engine (link on the right).
