i really hate certain facial expressions people make
especially in photos and photoshoots.
its just like ahh stop!
and i really hate bad quality pics. especially for professional things
irks me so freakin much.

and i really want red satin sheets
or sheets made of egyptian cotton.

You should get egyptian cotton sateen sheets. They're softer then regular cotton but not as slippery as satin. They're about 400 thread count. They're a little on the pricey side though.

We have all sorts of fun sheets right now at work for back to school, like hot pink and teal.

I know everything about sheets you could possible want to know. Thank you BB&B haha.

Sheets are so exciting. :].
I'm thinking of buying a whole bunch before I head back to school; I think it'd definately be money well spent!

I'm thinking the most comfy ones are going to be expensive, though. Definately hitting them sale racks! :D!
6th-Aug-2005 01:32 pm (UTC)
target always has really cool ones for a good price!
they are usually so colorful and pretty:)

photoshoots can be difficult--i had two shoots for my butch/femmeISM project that i just hated. i was so mad at myself for not being able to capture the real-life beauty and attractiveness of these two people. one made it to the final because i desperately needed something from his shoot to make it even.. but i share you pain.

and as for sheets--super high threadcount sheets, 300+ are fucking amazing, but fucking expensive. a good second-choice, and waaaay cheaper are the egyptian cotton jersey (t-shirt material) shirts available at bed, bath & beyond, usually in their back-to-school section. they don't pull or bead up, like cheap flanner sheets, they only get softer with age, and they start out amazing to begin with. the colors this year are fun too--neon green, pink, purple, blue. i just got myself my first new set since i went off to college, and that's only because i'm such a stoner and my old sheets have lots of cigarette burns. i got a full size bed set for something like thirty bucks, when thirty bucks might barely cover getting a set of 300+threadcount pillowcases.

YES, actually I meant Bed, bath, and beyond...NOT linenes and things. I got the jersey sheets in this bright ass teal/turqoise color and they've been on my bed since!

They have cheaper egyptain cotton too, I bought one set with the jersey, and 2 sets like a year ago there.

those sound yummy.
do you remember how much?
6th-Aug-2005 04:28 pm (UTC)
Go to Linens & Things for your sheets! They tend to have awesome sales...I got 2 sets of sheets for my twin bed, one is egyptian cotton, one is RIDICULOUSLY soft jersey sheets, both for under $40! That's where I got my other two sets of egyptian cotton too. Keep an eye on the ads, they always have a coupon for like 10% off in it too. :)
6th-Aug-2005 05:15 pm (UTC)
oh haha i read your other comment before this one.
thats a pretty good price. i def have to check it out
i need some pretty sheets :D
6th-Aug-2005 06:22 pm (UTC)

Like I said, check out the ads for good prices. They tend to have a good number of sheets on sale now for college and such.

I think the jersey sheets were around $10-20 for twin set, I know they were pretty damned cheap and I wanna go back and get more in different colors. They also had the foam layer for a twin and full bed on sale, I put one of those on my waterbed and the jersey on top...it's like laying on a giant, supersoft pillow lol.

Def try to get yer hands on the actual ad tho cuz there's a 10% off coupon in there every week.
6th-Aug-2005 10:46 pm (UTC)
oh man i love those foam things. they are so awsome.
6th-Aug-2005 06:25 pm (UTC)
PS: the 100% modal jersey sheet sets were what I got, starting at $20 twin at regular price. They were on sale 50% off when I got em, but they're totally worth like $40 haha.
6th-Aug-2005 06:53 pm (UTC)
did you get them when the school rush was over?
6th-Aug-2005 07:48 pm (UTC)
I got them like 2 weeks ago, maybe 3. They tend to have their bedding on sale through august though so there's a chance they're either on sale now or will be.
